Banks urged to do more for people with dementia

Banks are being told they need to plan for how to deal with increasing numbers of people with dementia. As we reported this morning the Bank of New Zealand recently banned an elderly customer who suffers from the disease. Ninety-three-year-old Cheng Kung got in to an argument with the manager at Christchurch's Upper Riccarton branch. The manager says Mr Kung hit her with an umbrella - he denies that, saying he hit only her desk.
