'Afghanistan has a lot to offer' - Bilal Sarwary
He's a journalist in one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a reporter but Bilal Sarwary could be putting his life further at risk by standing for Parliament in Afghanistan. Mr Sarwary is Radio New Zealand's correspondent in Afghanistan and he's visiting New Zealand to give a talk in Wellington on Tuesday night. He joins us in the studio to discuss Afghanistan's future with Susie Ferguson. "We learnt cricket as refugees in Pakistan. Now we have world-renowned spin bowlers like Rashid Khan... I think Afghanistan has a lot to offer. The West has a moral obligation... we can't say let's forget about Kabul," he says.
