Kōkako song used in battle to save bird

It's one of our most popular bird calls on Morning Report but the song of the kokako is also instrumental in the battle to save the blue-wattled crows. The calls have been used to attract kokako in the Pureroa Forest Park in the central North Island so they can be moved to Taranaki. RNZ's Taranaki reporter Robin Martin went along on a recovery and release mission.
