What needs to be included in the Zero Carbon Bill?
Yesterday, the government outlined how it plans to become carbon neutral by 2050 - now, they're asking the public for feedback. The proposed law offers three options of emissions reduction, including only tackling carbon dioxide and not other gases like methane and nitrous oxide, which predominantly come from agriculture. So will any of the options on offer do the job? To discuss this Susie Ferguson talks to Lisa McLaren from Generation Zero, and Federated Farmers vice president Andrew Hoggard.
