Most tourists to NZ to be charged up to $35
Most international visitors entering New Zealand for less than 12 months will be charged from $25 to $35 from the second half of next year. The details were announced by the Government this morning. The levy will be collected through visa applications and a proposed Electronic Travel Authority. Australians and people from most Pacific countries will not have to pay the levy, and children under two won't be charged. Chris Roberts is the chief executive of Tourism Industry Aotearoa.
