Overstayers have overstretched checkers - Immigration NZ

Immigration New Zealand says under-pressure compliance officers have been diverted into fraud and exploitation work at the expense of tracking down people illegally in the country. New figures show overstayer numbers have increased and more than half of all overstayers have been in the country illegally for more than six years. Gill Bonnett reports.
