Ex-NZ Navy ship's new life in conservation
A former New Zealand Navy ship has a new life working in conservation. An Australian couple have purchased the forty-four metre Manawanui and sailed it back to Newcastle - where it's soon to begin its new life helping to prevent Japanese vessels sunk during World War II from leaking oil. The New Zealand navy sold it and another old ship to pay for a brand new one - to the benefit of Paul and Wilma Adams. Paul Adams joins us from Newcastle.
