Refugee in her 70s faced deportation from NZ
A frail elderly woman who became a refugee after years of attacks by her husband in China faced being deported because she needed full-time care. A bureacratic bungle was eventually sorted by the appeals tribunal which said because she was a refugee she could not legally be sent back to China. Immigration reporter Gill Bonnett has been looking at the tribunal's decision and discusses the case with Guyon Espiner.
