Victoria University students ambivalent on name change - union
Victoria University's student association says only a small portion of students are upset by a decision to change its name to University of Wellington. The university council voted 9-2 on Monday to change its name. More than 2000 submissions were received, with 75 percent opposing the change. But of the university's 22,000 students, only 180 made submissions. Student association president, Marlon Drake, told RNZ reporter Kate Gudsell students aren't really that concerned.
