USMCA not good news for future NZ-US free trade deal - Jacobi

Donald Trump has hailed a new trade deal with Canada and Mexico as a victory for the United States. President Trump says his get-tough approach to trade, including his use of tariffs, was bringing results. New Zealand Trade Minister David Parker has welcomed the new trade deal. A spokesperson from his office says officials will be looking closely at the outcome to see how it affects New Zealand businesses. Mr Parker visits Washington and Ottawa later in October.
