Kaiapoi North School closed after fire

A block of classrooms at a school north of Christchurch has been severely damaged by fire overnight. Two crews from Kaiapoi arrived to find a classroom block at Kaiapoi North School well alight. Fire crews were also called in from nearby Rangiora and Woodend. The school's principal, Jason Miles, spoke to our reporter Tom Furley a short time ago.
