Black Ferns excited for NZ Women's Rugby World Cup 2021
The Black Ferns captain Fiao'o Fa'amausili says getting the hosting rights for the women's rugby world has been a long time coming but is worth the wait. New Zealand will host the 2021 tournament beating Australia for the honour 25 votes to 17. It will be the first time the tournament has been held in the Southern Hemisphere, with matches to be played in Auckland and Whangarei. The Black Ferns are in Grenoble preparing to play France this weekend and Fa'amausili told sports editor Stephen Hewson the team followed the announcement closely, but says she certainly won't be playing come 2021 as she'll be 40.
