Canterbury DHB not doing enough on safety - nurses union
The Nurses Organisation says the Canterbury District Health Board isn't doing enough to protect nurses and the stabbing at the weekend is evidence of this. It's the third violent attack on a nurse this year. Just a week earlier a nurse had boiling water thrown at her by a patient, and in March another nurse was strangled by a patient at the hospital.
