Mental health report's calls on alcohol 'terrific' - Sellman
The inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction is also recommending the government take immediate and strong action on the sale and supply of alcohol. In its report released on Monday, the panel said the government has already been presented with the evidence on how to reduce alcohol-related harm, and the main obstacle to alcohol law reform is a lack of political will. Professor Doug Sellman is the director of the National Addiction Centre at the University of Otago, Christchurch. He talks to Guyon Espiner.
