UK PM attempts to lessen concerns around Brexit 'backstop'
The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, has returned to Brussels for the second time in a week, seeking assurances to assuage the concerns around the Brexit "backstop". Arriving for an EU summit after surviving a vote of confidence organised by her own MPs, Mrs May said she had listened to the concerns of the MPs that had voted against her and, she added, she knew what was needed to get her deal "over the line".
