Indian refugee boat thought to be NZ-bound
More than two hundred people are thought to have sailed from the Kerala coast in India to try to reach New Zealand in a boat so packed that many of them had to leave their luggage behind. The police have found scores of abandoned bags but have no idea what has happened to the people they belong to. Arun Janardhanan an from the Indian Express says it's thought the boat was heading to New Zealand as it's considered more welcoming to refugees than Australia. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
