Govt recommended to roll back Family Court 2014 changes
An independent panel wants the Government to wind back changes to the Family Court made by the previous government in 2014. Those changes aimed to encourage parents to resolve access and care disputes without having to go to court with a lawyer. They've been widely criticised by Family Court lawyers and the panel says the submissions it received show it's become more difficult to resolve disputes. Rosslyn Noonan is the Chair of the Independent Panel. She talks to Guyon Espiner.
