UK MPs vote on changes to May's brexit deal
MPs are voting on Wednesday morning on amendments to Theresa May's Brexit deal that could shape the course of the next stage of negotiations with the EU. Conservative MPs have been told to back a proposal for an alternative to the Irish backstop, seen as an 'insurance policy' against the return of a visible border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, which is a member of the European Union. There are also proposals to avoid a no-deal scenario. The Telegraph's Brexit correspondent James Rothwell speaks to Susie Ferguson.
