Huawei 5g in UK possible - cyber-security chiefs
In a surprise move, British intelligence appears to be pushing back against US attempts to persuade allies to ban Chinese company Huawei from their high-speed telecommunications systems. The Financial Times in London has reported that UK cyber-security chiefs believe it is possible to manage any risk involved in using Huawei equipment in 5G networks. New Zealand has so far blocked Huawei playing a role in its 5G network. Jacinda Ardern says what the UK is doing aligns with what New Zealand is doing. Susie Ferguson talks to Demetri Sevastopulo.
