Wellington Zoo defends decision to put down unruly baboons

Wellington Zoo says it tried everything possible to save its four baboons after their social structure descended into chaos, but the only solution was to euthanise them. It says the baboons were fighting each other, causing serious injuries and high levels of anxiety. They were put down on Saturday.
