Teacher's husband allowed in NZ after Immigration u-turn

A Whangarei teacher is elated her Canadian husband will be allowed back into the country after a surprise backtrack by Immigration New Zealand. Jimmy Lambert was told he couldn't return to Whangarei to be with his wife Juanita Craig and their two children because he has multiple sclerosis. But after Ms Craig's story featured on Morning Report on Tuesday, Immigration New Zealand admitted it had made a mistake and issued him with a medical waiver.
