There's widespread indignation within Pacific rugby after news of a proposed new 'World League' that would exclude Pacific teams. As part of the 12-team league, Japan and the United States will be in, while all Pacific nations would be out - including Fiji which currently ranks as world number nine. The deal is believed to be for 12 years, locking these teams out of the tournament for more than a decade, with no prospect of promotion. The chief executive of Pacific Rugby Players, Aayden Clarke, spoke to Susie Ferguson.
