Mosque attacks: Human rights advocates urge open inquiry
The Human Rights Foundation is urging the Government to ensure the inquiry into security and intelligence agencies after the Christchurch terrorist attacks is open and transparent. To back up this call, released a report that accuses the SIS of breaching the human rights of the Muslim communities it has been monitoring. The Prime Minister has announced that the inquiry will cover the SIS, the GCSB, NZ Police, Customs and Immigration, but the terms of reference have not been set yet.
