Timaru Botanical Gardens plays home to little brown owl

The little brown owl - introduced from Germany in the early 1900s, it's not a very common sight in New Zealand. Alastair Thornley from Timaru wants more people in the town to be able to see them, so he's been busy making homes for them in the Timaru Botanical Gardens.
