Long-tailed bat colony found near Rotorua city

A colony of long-tailed bats have been discovered in a reserve close to Rotorua city - not a place they usually hang-out. This is only the third time these bats have been found in a semi-urban area - usually they set up in forests well away from civilisation. Kerry Borkin is a bat specialist.
