Building Act overhaul proposed by govt

Two days after announcing an accord with the construction industry - the government has proposed the biggest overhaul to the Building Act in ten years. It includes everything from penalties, reducing the building levy, raising some licencing standards and making consenting easier for modern methods of construction.
