NZ students head to NASA for internships

Four New Zealand tertiary students are heading to Silicon Valley this month, to join the team at the NASA Ames Research Centre. They're the first to be accepted into NASA's International Internship Programme, having been awarded scholarships through the New Zealand Space Agency. It's hoped they will use knowledge gained in California to help grow space programmes in New Zealand
