Finance Minister defends fees-free tertiary policy
The Finance Minister is defending the no fees scheme for first year tertiary students despite fewer people taking up the offer than expected. Ahead of this month's budget, Grant Robertson has revealed enrolments in the programme have not met initial forecasts and he is redirecting $200 million from the scheme towards reforming vocational training. Finance Minister joins Corin Dann in the Wellington studio.
