A special reunion for Gallipoli war veteran family
A family in Wellington have just discovered they've got a long-lost relative who served in Gallipoli but who has been lying in an unmarked grave in Porirua. Corporal Willie Snelgrove died of Spanish flu in December 1918 and his family has never known where he was laid to rest - until now. Allan Dodson spends his retirement days running the Porirua War Stories website - and told RNZ defence reporter, Jonathan Mitchell, how he came across the Corporal's plot in the Kenepuru Drive cemetery.
