Secondary principals call for 15 percent pay rise
The government is facing yet another big pay demand from school staff, with secondary principals tabling a claim for a 15 percent pay rise and six weeks annual leave. The Post Primary Teachers Association and the Secondary Principals Association say the claim is fair and reasonable. But the government has already rejected similar demands from teachers and they are heading for a massive joint strike next week. RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, has the story.
