US President Donald Trump has stepped onto North Korean soil during a hastily arranged meeting with Chairman Kim Jong-un.
In total Mr Trump took 20 steps into North Korea, becoming the first serving US leader to set foot in the territory.
Mr Trump is in the region for the G20 meeting, and had pre-arranged a visit to the demilitarised zone.
Afterwards he told reporters he would be inviting Kim Jong-un to the White House.
Washington Post Beijing bureau chief Anna Fifield talks to Morning Report producer Emma Hurley about the event.
