Oranga Tamariki has revealed more details about the harm and abuse being done to children in its care - and who is doing it.
In March, the Ministry for Children published its first two safety of children in care reports, covering the six months to December 2018.
In that period, there were more than 300 instances of neglect, or emotional, sexual or physical abuse - and those responsible for it included caregivers, parents, other children, adult family members and Oranga Tamariki staff members.
The ministry has now given RNZ News more detailed figures about who has caused the harm.
RNZ social issues reporter Sarah Robson joins Susie Ferguson with the details.
