A New Zealand father who returned home with his children after they were abandoned by their Australian mother has been forced back to Australia under the Hague Convention.
The two children ended up in foster care and when they were returned to him and he struggled to pay bills, Australian welfare officials advised him to take them to New Zealand.
He's back in Australia but says he can't afford a massive legal bill to fight the mother through the family court, and as a New Zealander he can't apply for legal aid.
