Netball New Zealand says it is working on paying its players better, after the World Cup win again highlighted the pay difference between sports men and women.
The Silver Ferns won't get any prize money for their win, and on average get paid $75,000 a year, much less than men playing cricket or rugby at an international level.
Netball New Zealand's chief executive Jennie Wyllie spoke to RNZ reporter Laura Dooney from the UK. She says it's a matter of getting more sponsorship, and the international body doing what it can do raise the sport's profile.
