Netball New Zealand is keen to pay its players as much as it can - but says there needs to be proper global recognition of women's sport.
The Silver Ferns get no prize money after becoming champions in Liverpool early on Monday morning (NZ time).
That compares with the $3 million the Black Caps got for coming second in their World Cup last week.
