Wellington mum raising $100k for mutiple sclerosis stem cell treatment

A Wellington woman who's losing her sight and mobility to multiple sclerosis is fundraising $100,000 to travel to Mexico for a radical stem cell treatment to fight the disease.

Bronwyn Hutchison, a sole parent, hopes the treatment will buy her more time with her two young children.

Meanwhile, there are growing calls for the therapy to be offered in New Zealand. Karoline Tuckey reports.
