Thousands are expected to pack Masterton's Memorial Park sports ground today to farewell rugby giant Sir Brian Lochore.
The former All Black captain and coach, known universally among Wairarapa locals as BJ, died at the weekend aged 78.
His funeral service is being held on the home ground where he played the most games, and where the grandstand bears his name.
