Census info ‘better than previous censuses’ - James Shaw

In the wake of the 2019 census botch-up, there are concerns it could take decades for the public to regain trust in statistics.

Statistics Minister James Shaw is allaying those fears, saying officials had successfully plugged some key gaps with information held by other government departments, and they will be using that info to set the electoral boundaries. Mr Shaw spoke to Corin Dann.
