Hong Kong International Airport has been operating without disruption - following two nights of flight cancellations and chaos.
Passports and flight documents are now being checked outside, preventing a repeat of the disruption caused by pro-democracy demonstrators.
However it's not all quiet in Hong Kong, police have fired tear gas at hundreds of protesters who had gathered outside a police station in the residential area of Sham Shui Po in Kowloon.
