National Deputy calls for Labour Party President to stand down
The Opposition is calling on the Prime Minister to immediately stand down one of her office's staff members after a 19 year old volunteer made accusations of a serious sexual assault early last year. Jacinda Ardern said she was assured by party officials when the allegations first arose, that they were not sexual in nature. But she told journalists at Parliament yesterday recent news reports had caused her to question those assurances.
