Horowhenua locals still awaiting promised expressway

Horowhenua locals are still in limbo nearly a decade on from promises of an expressway to replace a dangerous stretch of State Highway One north of Wellington. The Transport Agency says there's no money to build the Otaki to North of Levin expressway for another five years. Residents in the area say not only does it feel like a hopeless wait, but as the years tick on people are dying on the roads. Charlotte Cook reports.
