Councils say govt funding has helped reduce freedom camper problems

As popular tourist destinations prepare for the annual influx of summer visitors, local councils say $8.5 million of government funding to promote responsible camping last year paid dividends, and with a further $8 million being spent this year, even fewer problems are expected from anti-social freedom campers.
