Extinction Rebellion begin protest in Wellington

Environmental activists Extinction Rebellion are planning to to shut down 60 cities worldwide, starting with Wellington, this morning. They have promised extreme, disruptive action to create pressure to get more action on climate change, and in the year since they formed have mobilised thousands in marches and protests in towns and cities across the world. Their plans for Wellington are a tightly guarded secret. We begin by talking to protester Jen Olsen, who has gathered with others in Midland Park on Lambton Quay.
