Senator Bernie Sanders, the socialist warhorse from Vermont, is celebrating victory in the New Hampshire primary, the second key state to vote in the race for the Democratic Party's Presidential nomination.
He forced Pete Buttigieg, the former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, into second place, with Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota coming third.
The result is a disaster for former Vice President Joe Biden, and raises questions about the future viability of his campaign.
