Closing New Zealand's borders to anyone but residents to clamp down on Covid-19, has also cut-off more than 90 percent of visitors to Rotorua's oldest tourism business, The Whakarewarewa Village.
Ngati Wahiao has opened its doors to tourists for more than 120 years, offering tours of the geothermal landscape and cultural experiences.
But things are expected to look a lot different when the village finally re-opens.
