The New National Party leader Todd Muller is wasting no time putting his stamp on the party's front bench with a caucus reshuffle that would be revealed as early as today.
Muller took over the leadership, along with new deputy Nikki Kaye on Friday after a swift contest last week.
The first controversy the pair faced was Muller's ownership of a Make America Great Again hat, which he displays in his office alongside a Hillary Clinton badge as souvenirs from visiting the US in 2016.
Kaye told Morning Report people calling for Muller to get rid of the hat were reading too much into things.
