Primary school principals are telling their national federation that there's a big problem with violence among their pupils.
The president of the Principals Federation, Perry Rush, says he is currently touring the country talking to hundreds of principals.
He told RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, their number one problem is severe behaviour.
