Marian Hobbs has been ousted as Chair of the Otago Regional Council yesterday in a successful leadership coup.
Andrew Noone, who was one of nine councillors who signed a letter to roll Hobbs as leader, was elected as the new Chairperson.
Hobbs is looking forward to facing her political opponents in future - who she says are using rumours to discredit her leadership.
