The Chatham Islands is set to nab nearly $40 million in funding for infrastructure projects.
High on the list are much-needed upgrades to the Chatham's airport, including a new runway.
The money comes from the government's funding for "shovel-ready infrastructure projects" to kick-start the Covid-19 recovery.
