Private institutions that have lost thousands of foreign students due to the pandemic are warning a $10 million support fund for their sector is not enough.
They say the government needs to nearly double the fund, or pay them to teach more New Zealand students.
They are also worried proposed criteria for accessing the money will lock some of their number out of it.
